12 Years of Excellence: GRMC’s Tanya Grant Earns National Credentialing Certification

(Monday, August 17, 2026; Dededo, Guam) – Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) proudly recognizes Tanya Grant, Credentialing Supervisor, on earning her Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS®) certification through the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)—a significant professional achievement that reflects both her expertise and more than a decade of dedication to GRMC.

Grant has been part of the GRMC team for 12 years, dating back to before the hospital officially opened its doors to patients. Throughout that time, she has played an important role in supporting the organization’s medical staff processes and helping ensure providers meet the qualifications and standards required to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Her recent certification marks another milestone in a career dedicated to healthcare excellence and continuous growth.

“Tanya’s commitment to GRMC has been remarkable,” said Jennifer Sevilla, GRMC Medical Staff Services & Recruiting Manager. “She has been part of this organization’s journey from the very beginning, helping build the foundation that supports quality patient care today. Earning her CPCS certification is a testament to her professionalism, dedication, and desire to continually strengthen her expertise.”

While much of credentialing work takes place behind the scenes, its impact is felt throughout the hospital. Credentialing Specialists help verify physicians’ education, training, licensure, certifications, and professional qualifications, supporting both regulatory compliance and patient safety.

For Grant, the certification represents not only a professional accomplishment but also a continuation of the commitment she has demonstrated throughout her years at GRMC.

“Being part of GRMC’s growth over the past 12 years has been incredibly rewarding,” said Grant. “I’m thankful for the opportunities to develop both personally and professionally, and I’m honored to continue supporting the providers and teams who deliver exceptional care to our community every day.”

As GRMC continues to advance healthcare services for Guam and the region, Grant’s achievement highlights the importance of lifelong learning and the many dedicated professionals whose work helps ensure patients receive care from qualified, credentialed providers.

GRMC congratulates Tanya Grant on this accomplishment and thanks her for her 12 years of service, dedication, and contributions to the organization’s commitment to providing exceptional care close to home.
