GRMC Stresses the Importance of Security Screening
New Visitation Policy Includes Mandatory Wanding and Bag Searches
(Wednesday, January 20, 2021; Dededo, Guam) Guam Regional Medical City GRMC) instituted new visitation policies today, Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
GRMC reminds the public there is now a Security checkpoint as you enter the hospital grounds and a mandatory Security screening point at the entrances of the hospital.
The Security screening process includes mandatory temperature and symptom checks, wanding, and bag searches. Security will also insist that anyone entering the hospital wear an approved mask. Mask with valves are not approved.
Anyone refusing to be screened by Security, have their bags checked, or wear a mask will not be allowed to enter the hospital.
We apologize for any inconvenience our mandatory Security screening policies may cause but these measures are for your safety and the safety of our patients, staff, and other visitors inside the hospital.
