(Thursday, June 20, 2019; Dededo, Guam) Effective Sunday, June 23, 2019, Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) will be discontinuing its Urgent Care services as part of its ongoing restructuring efforts.
GRMC’s Emergency Department (ED) will remain open and in accordance with federal law, all patients presenting to GRMC requesting emergency services will still be entitled to a screening exam to assess for any medical emergencies. However, patients should be aware their insurance provider may not cover medical services provided in the ED that are determined to be non-emergency.
For your convenience, GRMC reminds that Urgent Care services are provided at Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH), American Medical Center, FHP Urgent Care Center, and the Guam Seventh-day Adventist Clinic.
