ULTRASOUND SERVICES
In the Radiology Department at GRMC, we are able to deploy the best Siemens Ultrasound System to anywhere in the hospital at a moment’s notice. The ACUSON S300 Ultrasound System HELX Evolution was designed with a dedicated focus on General Imaging and Interventional Radiology. It offers new levels of workflow efficiency, imaging performance, and sustainability. This system is Siemens premium Ultrasound System that offers unique solutions to imaging.

X-RAY SERVICES
With the addition of a brand new Siemens CT Scanner, we can guarantee the best possible safe and efficient imaging care in GRMC’s Radiology Department.

COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHY
The Siemens Somatom Definition Flash CT Scanner is uploaded with the latest radiation dose-reducing software called CARE Dose4D, making it possible to acquire high-resolution imaging with the least possible radiation to patients.

3D RENDERING CAPABILITIES

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)
MRIs employ safe magnetic fields and radio frequency pulses to produce detailed pictures of organs, soft tissues, bone, and virtually all other internal body structures. MRIs do not produce ionizing radiation.

CARDIAC CT ANGIOGRAM
The Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) Calcium Score detects blockages in the coronary arteries and identifies structural heart abnormalities, while assessing the presence of Coronary Artery Calcification (CAC) to evaluate calcium buildup in the arteries—an important indicator of heart disease risk.

PERFUSION SCAN
The advanced CT Brain Perfusion test is an advanced imaging technique that assesses blood flow in the brain. This test uses a contrast agent to visualize circulation and to identify areas of the brain at risk of or has already been affected by a stroke. It differentiates between brain tissue that is permanently damaged and tissue that can still be saved.

GRMC is proud to welcome Dr. Joseph Herring, expanding access to high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients across Guam. His expertise supports early detection, accurate diagnosis, and informed treatment planning. Now serving the island community, Dr. Herring provides dependable radiology care close to home, allowing patients to receive imaging and follow-up care seamlessly under one roof.

INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY
GRMC’s Interventional Radiology (IR) department uses advanced imaging like fluoroscopy, MRI, CT, and ultrasound to perform minimally invasive procedures that diagnose, treat, and cure various conditions.
