Dr. Hattori is professionally affiliated with multiple associations such as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the American Epilepsy Society (AES), and the Japanese Medical Society of America (JMSA). She lived in four different countries including Japan, Ireland, Antigua & Barbuda and the US.
Singing
Dr. Naho Hattori joins GRMC’s Neurology team as a neurologist and sleep specialist. Prior to her arrival on Guam, she served at the Loma Linda School of Medicine in California as an attending neurologist.
Dr. Hattori earned her medical degree at the University of Antigua School of Medicine in St. John’s, Antigua. She then completed her intern year in at the Florida Atlantic University, Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, Florida. Before its program closure in June 2021, Dr. Hattori was part of the last cohort of the Neurology Residency Program at Desert Regional Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed her 2nd Neurology Residency at Loma Linda University. She completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Dr. Hattori shares a passion for singing. She has arranged musical pieces and performed semi-annually for private concerts.
