Guam Regional Medical City Celebrates Tricia Chandler as the First Certified Patient Experience Professional in Guam and the Micronesian Region

(Monday, February 16, 2026; Dededo, Guam) – Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) is proud to announce that Tricia Chandler, Patient Experience Manager, has earned her Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) credential from The Beryl Institute, the global leader in advancing the patient experience.

This distinction is historic: Tricia is the first and only individual in Guam and the entire Micronesian region to earn this prestigious certification, marking a groundbreaking milestone for GRMC and for healthcare excellence across the islands.

As Patient Experience Manager, Tricia leads Patient Experience, Customer Relations, and Patient Transport, guiding these teams with compassion, strategic focus, and a deep commitment to improving the Human Experience for patients, families, and staff. Her initiatives have strengthened service recovery, enhanced communication pathways, and advanced GRMC’s commitment to ensuring every patient is cared for as a beloved family member.

Under GRMC’s Human Experience umbrella, Tricia has paved the way as a trailblazer, implementing evidence- based strategies, amplifying patient voice mechanisms, and building organizational systems that reflect GRMC’s ICARE values. Her leadership has contributed to measurable improvements in responsiveness,
satisfaction, and overall care experience.
