Guam Regional Medical City Expands Parking and Services to Better Serve Patients and Visitors

Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) is excited to announce several important updates aimed at improving the patient and visitor experience. As part of its ongoing commitment to better serve the community, GRMC has implemented changes designed to make accessing and navigating the hospital more convenient, comfortable, and efficient.

Understanding that parking can be a challenge for patients and their families, GRMC has increased its parking capacity. This expansion will help ease congestion and ensure more convenient parking for patients, families, and visitors.

In addition to the expanded parking, GRMC has introduced two new golf carts to help transport patients and visitors from the parking lot directly to the hospital entrance. These carts will provide added comfort, particularly on rainy days or for those with mobility challenges, ensuring everyone can easily access the hospital without stress or inconvenience.

As part of this expansion, GRMC has also installed new walkway awnings that provide added weather protection and enhance the overall convenience for patients and visitors. These awnings offer shelter from the rain and sun, ensuring that individuals can stay dry and comfortable as they move between the parking area and the hospital entrance, especially during Guam’s unpredictable weather. This added feature further elevates the patient and visitor experience, creating a more pleasant and seamless journey from arrival to check-in.

These updates are part of GRMC’s ongoing efforts to provide not just medical care, but also a welcoming, supportive environment where patients and their families feel valued. The hospital’s leadership team remains dedicated to continuous improvements to enhance the patient experience.

With more patients visiting us, we identified the challenge of providing easier access and parking. By expanding our parking capacity and introducing golf cart services, we’ve found a practical solution to improve the overall experience for our patients and their families. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to staying ahead of the needs of our community and ensuring that every visit is as convenient and comfortable as possible.”
