GRMC Introduces New One-Stop Center
Full Laboratory and Radiology Services in Convenient Location

(Thursday, February 25, 2021; Dededo, Guam) Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) will offer patients a new addition to its services on March 1, 2021 with the opening of its One-Stop Center for laboratory and radiology services. The One-Stop Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm inside the Radiology department on the first floor.

Patients who need laboratory services are welcomed as walk-ins but will need a Lab Requisition Form from their doctor outlining the services they require. We encourage our community providers to download GRMC’s Lab Requisition Form and/or Referral Form from our website, www.grmc.gu, under Download Forms at the top of the page.

GRMC’s laboratory is accredited by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP).

Patients who also need radiology services, which include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT) scans, Ultra-sounds, X-rays, and Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) Bone Density scans are welcomed at GRMC’s One-Stop Center.

Patients visiting our One-Stop Center will be greeted by our Security staff at the Security checkpoint and will be directed to park at our patient’s parking lot by the GRMC‘s East Entrance. Upon entry at the East Entrance, our patients must go through mandatory security screening that includes temperature and symptom checks, wanding, and bag searches. Security will also insist anyone entering the hospital wear an approved mask. Masks with valves are not approved.  Security will then issue a badge and patients may then proceed to the One-Stop Center located within the Radiology Department.

Anyone refusing to be screened by Security, have their bags checked, or wear a mask will not be allowed to enter the hospital. We apologize for any inconvenience our mandatory Security screening policies may cause but these protocols are for the safety of you and our other patients, staff, and visitors.
