Gregory currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in GRMC’s Oncology/Hematology Department.
As an advanced practice nurse in the Hematology/Oncology department Greg helps patient’s through difficult times in their lives, dealing with a diagnosis of cancer. Nurse practitioners integrate and apply specialty knowledge to improve outcomes for patients. Working as a nurse practitioner in oncology requires expanded theoretical knowledge and advanced clinical skills to provide expert care to patients with cancer, their families and the community. The role encompasses several elements, including that of expert clinician, mentor, consultant, educator, researcher, administrator and case manager.
