Samantha Scardilli, MS, CCC-SLP, is the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at GRMC. With advanced training in dysphagia management and instrumental swallow assessment, she brings extensive clinical experience from acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Samantha is known for her leadership in developing innovative speech and swallowing programs that elevate patient outcomes and clinical excellence across Guam and the Micronesia islands.

Samantha Scardilli serves as the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at GRMC, bringing advanced clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. She holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from Monmouth University.
Certified in FEES, MBSImp, MDTP, and LSVT Loud, Samantha specializes in dysphagia management and instrumental swallow assessments. She played a key role in launching the first tracheostomy team in Micronesia, implementing the IDDSI framework, and standardizing modified barium swallow studies using TIMS software and Varibar barium products. She also introduced the Yale Swallow Protocol to GRMC to improve stroke care and RN swallow screenings.
Outside of the hospital, Samantha enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, traveling, and going to the beach. She is a self-proclaimed “foodie,” which may be why she is so passionate about the field of dysphagia (swallowing disorders).
