
Dr. Jee Ah ‘Christina’ Rhee is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist, joining GRMC to continue providing expert care. She completed her Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Queens and has extensive experience in managing complex pulmonary conditions, including COVID-19-related complications. Dr. Rhee is dedicated to advancing patient care through both clinical expertise and scholarly contributions to the field.

Dr. Jee Ah ‘Christina’ Rhee is a skilled Pulmonologist and Critical Care Medicine specialist with extensive training and experience in managing complex pulmonary and critical conditions. She recently joined GRMC, bringing her expertise in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and medical research to the Guam community. Dr. Rhee completed her Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Queens, where she also served as Chief Fellow during the 2023-2024 academic year. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, with additional certification in Critical Care Echocardiography.
Dr. Rhee earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, and her academic journey has been marked by leadership roles, including serving as the President of the Global Health Interest Group in Doha, Qatar. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of pulmonary conditions, from chronic respiratory diseases to life-threatening acute conditions, including hypersensitivity pneumonitis and severe COVID-19-related complications. Dr. Rhee has published numerous scientific papers and case reports, and she has presented her research at prestigious conferences such as the American Thoracic Society and CHEST Annual Meetings.
In addition to her clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Rhee has demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education and mentorship, having held leadership positions in several medical councils, including as a Fellow Representative for the Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship. Her dedication to advancing the field of pulmonary medicine is matched by her focus on providing patient-centered care.
As Dr. Rhee begins her role at GRMC, she remains passionate about improving outcomes for critically ill patients and advancing pulmonary care on the island. Her clinical expertise, academic contributions, and leadership make her a valuable asset to the healthcare community in Guam.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Rhee enjoys painting and traveling.
