Dr. Michelle Healey is an board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician with a diverse background in military medicine, emergency care, and aviation medicine. Her experience as a U.S. Army Flight Surgeon and Brigade Surgeon has equipped her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in high-acuity environments. She is committed to delivering timely, compassionate emergency medical care while supporting the health and well-being of the communities she serves.

Biography

Dr. Michelle Healey is an board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician with a distinguished background in military medicine, aviation medicine, emergency care, and clinical leadership. Her experience spans emergency medicine, operational healthcare, and military medical readiness, allowing her to provide high-quality care in fast-paced and complex clinical environments.

Dr. Healey earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was a Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society member, Dean’s List recipient, and Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) recipient through the U.S. Army. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Life Science and Computer Science from Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea.

She completed a Transitional Year Internship at Madigan Army Medical Center before serving in several key military leadership roles. As a Flight Surgeon and Brigade Surgeon, Dr. Healey provided comprehensive medical care and operational support for Army aviation units in both Colorado and South Korea. She also served as Officer-in-Charge of the K-16 Troop Medical Clinic in South Korea, where she led medical operations while ensuring the health and readiness of active-duty service members.

Dr. Healey further advanced her expertise by completing an Emergency Medicine Residency at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and medical emergencies. She has also contributed to medical research through multiple scientific presentations and publications focused on trauma care and otolaryngology.

Now at Guam Regional Medical City, Dr. Healey provides comprehensive emergency medical care with a commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate patient care. Her extensive military leadership experience and emergency medicine training allow her to confidently care for patients during some of their most critical moments while supporting the hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare to the people of Guam.
