Dr. M. Ayman Ghraowi is a board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with more than three decades of experience providing comprehensive cancer care across the United States. With a distinguished career in clinical oncology, hospital leadership, and cancer research, he is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based treatment to patients at Guam Regional Medical City.

Dr. M. Ayman Ghraowi is a board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with over 30 years of experience caring for patients with cancer and blood disorders. His extensive career spans hospital-based oncology, private practice, academic medicine, and clinical research, allowing him to provide comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care backed by decades of
expertise.
Dr. Ghraowi earned his Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University in Syria before completing a Diploma in Internal Medicine at the University of Wales in Cardiff, Wales. He later completed his Internal Medicine internship at Lincoln Hospital–New York Medical College, followed by Internal Medicine residencies at Lincoln Hospital–New York Medical College and
Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York. He then completed a Hematology-Oncology fellowship at Roosevelt Hospital–Columbia University.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ghraowi has held numerous leadership positions, including serving as Medical Director of South Texas Comprehensive Cancer Centers and Medical Director of the Spohn Cancer Center Clinics in Texas. He has also practiced at leading hospitals throughout Texas, California, and Delaware, providing expert oncology and hematology services in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. Most recently, he served as a Hospital Oncologist at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, Delaware.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ghraowi served as Principal Investigator for multiple oncology clinical trials for more than a decade, contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment and expanding access to innovative therapies for patients. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology and is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology.
Now back at GRMC, Dr. Ghraowi continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based cancer care to the people of Guam and Micronesia. With decades of experience in medical oncology and hematology, he remains committed to delivering personalized treatment and helping patients navigate every step of their cancer journey.
Outside of his professional duties, Dr. Ghraowi enjoys fishing and swimming.
