Linfei is a member of the Montana Nurses’ Association (MNA), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), and the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
Linfei Yu is a certified family nurse practitioner, who joined GRMC’s Cardiovascular Center in December 2023. Just two years earlier, she worked in GRMC’s Med-Surgical and Telemetry units as a travel nurse.
Prior to her pursuit in nursing, Linfei attained a Bachelor of Arts in English at the Wenzhou Medical College in China in 2011. She later moved to the U.S. and attended Montana State University to pursue her bachelor’s degree in nursing. As an undergraduate, Linfei worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at a local senior home and later at Billings Clinic Hospital, where she would then work as a registered nurse for their cardiovascular inpatient unit upon graduating in 2017. In 2019, Linfei was selected as an honoree for the prestigious DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
In 2020, Linfei returned to Montana State University to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to become a family nurse practitioner. While pursuing her DNP, she worked as a travel nurse in various states including California, Georgia, Hawaii, and Guam.

When Linfei isn’t helping patients, she enjoys reading, snorkeling, and traveling. Her constant enthusiasm involves staying updated on the latest cardiovascular related research and studies.
