Dr. Muralidhar Kondapaneni is a distinguished specialist in Pulmonology and Critical Care. His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology, an M.B.A, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.; B.S.). Dr. Kondapaneni’s expertise spans clinical practice, research, and education, having held significant roles, such as Regional Director of Pulmonary Critical Care, Director of the Lung Nodule Program, Director of the Critical Care and ER Administrative Committee in the SSM Good Samaritan, and Board Member of the SSM Southern Illinois Affordable Care Organization (ACO).

In addition to his certifications and medical board licenses, Dr. Kondapaneni has earned multiple accolades for his research, including several national and international conference presentations. His publications explore critical issues in pulmonary care, while serving as a reviewer on editorial boards for leading medical journals. His career is a testament to his dedication to enhancing pulmonary care, both through direct patient care and as a mentor to the next generation of healthcare professionals.
