Dr. Joseph Herring is a Diagnostic Radiologist with advanced fellowship training in Body Imaging and a strong commitment to quality-driven, patient-centered care. He completed his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine, followed by postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology, and a Body Imaging Fellowship at the University of Washington. Now at GRMC, Dr. Herring provides radiology services for patients across Guam.

Dr. Joseph Herring is a physician specializing in Diagnostic Radiology, bringing a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to quality-driven, patient-centered care.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his postgraduate training with an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine (UF Health). He then went on to complete his Diagnostic Radiology residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons/Harlem Hospital Center, followed by a Body Imaging Fellowship at the University of Washington.
Dr. Herring has supported radiology services through teleradiology positions, contributing to timely imaging reads and continuity of care for healthcare teams. In addition to clinical practice, he has been involved in research, presentations, and quality improvement projects, including work related to structured reporting and imaging quality.
Now at GRMC, Dr. Herring provides radiology services for patients across Guam, supporting accurate diagnosis and timely treatment planning to help ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Herring enjoys spending time with family, yoga, reading, music, stand-up comedy, shopping, and fashion.
