Dr. Harry S. Yu is a highly experienced, triple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, with a distinguished medical career spanning more than three decades. He received his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, graduating with honors. Dr. Yu then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, followed by a prestigious fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center.
Throughout his career, Dr. Yu has practiced in various healthcare systems across the United States, including private practices, academic hospitals, and locum tenens positions. His diverse experience includes Cullman Oncology PC in Alabama and clinical research roles such as investigator for Genesis Clinical Research Corporation, as well as multiple hematology-oncology assignments through nationally recognized locum tenens organizations. His clinical scope has involved managing a wide range of oncologic and hematologic conditions, patient-centered education, and active involvement in clinical trials.
Dr. Yu’s background is further enriched by his participation in research and medical publications, including studies presented internationally, such as his work on advanced lung cancer treatment presented at the 8th World Conference on Lung Cancer.
