GERALDINE LIBAN, FNP-C

Geraldine Liban, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over two years of urgent care experience and a diverse background in nursing education and international healthcare. With advanced degrees from both the Philippines and the United States, she is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Geraldine recently relocated to Guam and now serves as a Nurse Practitioner at Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC).

 

Biography

Geraldine Liban, FNP, is a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner with more than two years of experience in urgent care and an extensive background in both inpatient and outpatient care across international settings. Before joining GRMC, she served at Mohave Walk-In Care and Northwest Urgent Care in Arizona, where she was recognized for her compassionate approach and dedication to quality care for patients of all ages.

Originally from the Philippines, Geraldine earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Louis in 2008, graduating with honors as a consistent Dean’s Lister and scholarship awardee. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of La Salette in 2010, and later pursued her Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in 2021.

 

Her clinical training includes a wide range of rotation experiences in family medicine, pediatrics, and adult care across the U.S., Canada, and the Philippines. She is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse in Arizona, and previously held licenses as a midwife and registered nurse in the Philippines, as well as a licensed practical nurse in Canada.

Geraldine has served in multiple roles throughout her career, including registered nurse at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, charge nurse in Canadian long-term care facilities, and clinical instructor at the University of Saint Louis in the Philippines. Her outstanding care and leadership earned her three nominations for the DAISY Award during her time at WARMC.

As a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Geraldine is passionate about lifelong learning and staying current with best practices in healthcare.

She is now part of the GRMC team, where she plays a key role in providing coordinated, high-quality inpatient care to the community.
