Damien Hebert, CRNA

Damien Paul Hebert, CRNA, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with extensive experience in trauma, critical care, and military anesthesia. A graduate of Northeastern University, Damien has practiced in top-tier hospitals and military medical settings across the U.S. and abroad, including Moffitt Cancer Center and UAB University Hospital. As part of the GRMC anesthesia team, he brings advanced clinical expertise, military discipline, and compassionate care to Guam’s patients.

Biography

Damien Paul Hebert, CRNA, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at GRMC, where he provides anesthesia for a wide range of procedures including general, vascular, orthopedic, ENT, neurosurgical, and cardiac surgeries. He earned his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College.

Before joining GRMC, Damien served as a CRNA at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida—the state’s #1 cancer hospital—and at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, where he managed anesthesia for complex surgical and obstetric cases. His practice also includes extensive experience at UAB University Hospital, a Level I trauma and academic center, where he provided anesthesia in trauma, neurosurgical, and cardiothoracic specialties as part of the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Surgical Team.

Earlier in his career, Damien worked in critical care and emergency nursing roles at Naval Hospital Guam, Jacksonville Naval Hospital, and Rhode Island Hospital, building the strong clinical foundation that supports his work today. His background in both civilian and military medicine reflects his commitment to excellence, readiness, and patient-centered care.

Now at GRMC, Damien combines his advanced anesthesia skills and leadership experience to support safe, high-quality care for Guam’s patients. His diverse clinical background and service-driven mindset embody GRMC’s mission to deliver world-class healthcare to the island and the region.

Outside of work, Damien enjoys exercising, and spending time with his wife and three kids.
