Dr. Anika Pewlee is an Emergency Medicine physician who recently moved to Guam to join GRMC. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine after completing her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan, later completing her Emergency Medicine residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Pewlee brings strong clinical training and a community-focused approach to supporting the emergency care needs of the island.

Dr. Anika Pewlee is an Emergency Medicine physician who recently moved to Guam to join GRMC, bringing with her a strong foundation in acute care and community-centered service.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit after completing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan. Dr. Pewlee went on to complete her Emergency Medicine residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Pewlee has contributed to medical education through lectures on emergency topics such as trauma, renal emergencies, obstetric emergencies, and emergency department approaches to opioid dependence. Her dedication to service extends internationally and locally through outreach programs supporting homeless populations and women’s health initiatives.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Pewlee enjoys traveling, photography, backpacking, hiking, scuba diving, drawing, painting, rock climbing, and weightlifting.
