Dr. Semjon Tsyrlin is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a diverse clinical background in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and hospital-based care. He has provided medical services in various healthcare settings across Puerto Rico and the mainland United States, including rural and underserved communities. Dr. Tsyrlin is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and accessible care to patients of all backgrounds.
Dr. Semjon Tsyrlin is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and hospital-based medicine. Throughout his career, he has served patients in various healthcare settings, including rural and underserved communities in Puerto Rico and the mainland United States.
Dr. Tsyrlin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College in New York, NY, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Perpetual Help in Laguna, Philippines. He completed his postgraduate internship at Perea Hospital in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, followed by preliminary surgical residency training at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, AL. He later completed his Family Medicine residency at Bella Vista Hospital in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
With a background in both outpatient and hospital-based care, Dr. Tsyrlin brings a well-rounded approach to treating patients with a variety of healthcare needs. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, Tagalog, and Cebuano, allowing him to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tsyrlin enjoys traveling and participating in medical missions.
