Dr. Julian Santos is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with experience providing inpatient, outpatient, and telemedicine-based medical care. His clinical background includes hospital medicine, nocturnist care, and internal medicine practice across healthcare settings in the United States and the Philippines. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Santos has participated in research and quality improvement initiatives focused on diabetes management, preventive care, and evidence-based medicine. He brings a broad clinical perspective and a commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care to GRMC.

Dr. Julian Santos is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive experience in hospital medicine, inpatient care, outpatient internal medicine, and telemedicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Santos completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York, New York, from 2018 to 2021. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines, in 2013.
Throughout his career, Dr. Santos has practiced across a variety of clinical settings. His experience includes serving as a hospitalist and nocturnist with healthcare organizations in Washington, Nevada, Georgia, and Wisconsin, as well as previous internal medicine and hospitalist positions in the Philippines. His background includes caring for hospitalized patients during both daytime and overnight shifts, along with experience in outpatient internal medicine and telemedicine hospitalist care.
Dr. Santos has also been involved in clinical research and quality improvement. During his residency at New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital, he participated in projects examining diabetes management and glycemic control and led a quality improvement initiative evaluating aspirin use among geriatric patients following updated cardiovascular prevention guidelines. He has presented on a range of internal medicine topics, including asthma exacerbation, deep vein thrombosis, pheochromocytoma, and medication management.
His commitment to medicine also extends to community service. Earlier in his career, Dr. Santos served as a volunteer physician and medical intern in community and military medical outreach initiatives in the Philippines. His accomplishments include a Philippine Army Certificate of Commendation for Outstanding Volunteer Physician and a Certificate of Appreciation for his service during the acute COVID-19 outbreak in New York City.
Dr. Santos brings to GRMC a diverse background in hospital medicine and internal medicine, with an emphasis on evidence-based care, clinical collaboration, and the comprehensive management of hospitalized patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Santos enjoys golf, tennis, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, soccer, and playing bass and acoustic guitar.
