Ana “Ann” Cruz, PT, DPT, GRMC Rehabilitation Manager, has over five decades of experience in
physical therapy. She leads GRMC’s rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality, patient-
centered care to promote recovery and improve mobility across all ages.

Ana “Ann” Cruz, PT, DPT, serves as the Rehabilitation Manager at GRMC, bringing more than 50 years of professional experience in physical therapy and rehabilitation leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma and later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the College of St. Scholastica in Minnesota.
Throughout her distinguished career, Ann has held key positions including Chief of Rehabilitative Services at Guam Memorial Hospital and Senior Home Health Physical Therapist at Health Services of the Pacific. Her extensive background spans hospital, home health, and educational settings, working with patients ranging from early intervention to adult rehabilitation.
Ann was the first Chamorro physical therapist when she began her career in 1972 in Guam. Being the only local physical therapist in Guam for a period of about 10 years, she was involved in several health-related organizations, such as on the Home Care Advisory Board (DPHSS), Guam Comprehensive Healthcare Planning Committee, (DPHSS), Guam Board of Allied Health Examiners, (DPHSS), American Heart Association. Guam Chapter.
At GRMC, Ann oversees the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, ensuring excellence in patient care and therapy outcomes. A long-standing member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Occupational/Physical Therapy Association of Guam, she remains dedicated to advancing rehabilitation services and enhancing quality of life for patients throughout the island community.
Outside of the hospital, Ann enjoys watching volleyball and football games of her grandchildren and being involved with religious activities in her parish, Santa Barbara Catholic Church, and with the Neo-Catechumenal Way – Asan Community.
