IAN LLOYD BACCAY, FNP-C

Ian Lloyd Baccay, FNP-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in primary care, dialysis management, and clinical education. With advanced nursing degrees from both the Philippines and the United States, he is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Ian recently relocated to Guam and now serves as an NP at Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC).

Biography

Ian Lloyd Baccay, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with diverse experience across primary care, dialysis nursing, and healthcare education. Now practicing at Guam Regional Medical City, Ian brings a patient-centered approach and a commitment to clinical excellence to the hospital’s inpatient care team.

Originally from the Philippines, Ian earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Louis in 2008, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of La Salette in 2010. He further advanced his clinical education in the United States, completing his Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner at Grand Canyon University in 2023.

 

Ian’s clinical training includes rotations with Valley View Primary Care Associates, Desert Oasis Medical Center, Colorado River Pediatrics, and MomDoc Midwives. His professional journey spans multiple healthcare systems across the Philippines, Canada, and the U.S., where he has served in roles such as dialysis nurse and anemia manager at Fresenius Medical Care, charge nurse at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, and clinical instructor at the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines.

Licensed as a nurse practitioner and registered nurse in Arizona—with previous licensure in the Philippines and Canada—Ian is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is committed to lifelong learning through ongoing clinical education, including participation in national conferences.

Now part of GRMC’s team, Ian contributes to providing comprehensive, compassionate inpatient care to the island community.
