Guam Regional Medical City Provides Update on Clinic Operations and Visitation

(Wednesday, April 15, 2026; Dededo, Guam) – Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) extends its sincere appreciation to the community for its patience, understanding, and resilience throughout Tropical Storm Sinlaku.
While the most severe weather conditions have passed, Guam remains under Condition of Readiness (COR) 1 due to ongoing high winds, road closures, and widespread power outages affecting many villages. As the island begins to transition into recovery, GRMC is also moving into its immediate recovery phase while continuing to provide essential medical services.
As conditions continue to improve, GRMC would like to inform the public of the following updates:

  • Regular patient visitation will resume on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 8:00 AM
  • Full clinic operations are expected to resume on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 8:00 AM

Patients with previously scheduled appointments that were impacted by the storm will be contacted directly by
GRMC to assist with rescheduling.
GRMC remains committed to ensuring a safe and smooth transition back to normal operations and appreciates
the community’s continued cooperation.
