(Monday, April 7, 2025; Dededo, Guam) – Effective immediately, Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) has
announced that all patient visitations are temporarily suspended.
This decision was made with the health and safety of the hospital’s patients and employees in mind. GRMC
remains committed to taking proactive steps to ensure a safe environment for everyone in the facility.
Exceptions to the visitation suspension will be made for the following:
• Approved overnight stays for patients who require one-on-one family support.
• Family members of patients who are receiving comfort care.
We understand how important it is for loved ones to be near during a hospital stay. GRMC reassures the
public that this temporary measure is being taken out of an abundance of caution, and with the well-being of
the hospital’s patients, families, and staff as top priority.
GRMC thanks the community for their understanding and support during this time. For updates or questions,
