Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths; and give employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent.” The Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) Summer Hospital Internship Experience (SHInE) Program’s purpose is to emulate the internship experience by providing the individual a snapshot of what it is like to work in a hospital as a physician, a nurse, a physical therapist, a respiratory therapist, a laboratory technologist, a pharmacist and other clinical/hospital positions.
