Dr. Mohamed Alsabban is GRMC’s pathologist, a medical detective, who examines samples of tissue and blood, looking for evidence of disease. He plays a critical role in diagnosing and evaluating disorders using the sophisticated tools available to him as the Medical Director of the GRMC Lab.

Dr. Alsabban completed his Residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge Illinois after receiving his Medical Degree and completing his Internship at the Damascus University School of Medicine. He is also a seasoned surgeon who has served as a Medical Director, Lab Director, and Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology in Indiana, Illinois, Florida, and Tennessee. He comes to us from GMH where he served as the staff pathologist.
