Dr. Tommy Hou joins GRMC as a full-time Radiation Oncologist with over a decade of experience. He received his medical degree in 2012 at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri, where he also fulfilled his preliminary year in Internal Medicine. The following year, he traveled to Taiwan to join the Department of Radiation Oncology at the National Taiwan University Hospital as a research assistant. In 2018, he completed his 4-year Radiation Oncology Residency at the City of Hope National Medical Center in California.
Dr. Hou last served in California at the City of Hope Antelope Valley in Lancaster, while teaching as an assistant clinical professor at the City of Hope Medical Center from 2018-2021.
Dr. Hou is a board-certified physician and surgeon with the Medical Board of California and holds board certification in Radiation Oncology. He is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and has co-authored over 15 publications in cancer research.
In his spare time, Dr. Hou enjoys cooking and karaoke.
