Dr. Samaha is board-certified by the American Board of Critical Care Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary Disease, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Ghassan Samaha joins GRMC as a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician. Prior to his arrival on Guam, Dr. Samaha served as an attending physician in New York at the South Shore University Hospital and taught as an assistant professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine.
Dr. Samaha earned his medical degree in 2015 at the Lebanese University – Faculty of Medical Sciences in Beirut, Lebanon. He then completed his Internal Medicine internship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Samaha moved to New York, where he fulfilled a residency in Internal Medicine at the Staten Island University Hospital and later a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Samaha is board-certified by the American Board of Critical Care Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary Disease, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is currently licensed to practice in New York, Florida, and Guam.
As a native Arabic speaker, Dr. Samaha speaks fluent English, French, and advanced Spanish. In his spare time, Dr. Samaha enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading.
