Rehabilitation
The GRMC Rehabilitation team prepares personalized treatment plans to help patients of all ages recover abilities they have lost. Our therapists are highly trained, personable professionals who tailor their treatment plans to meet individual needs in order to reduce pain and improve functional mobility following serious injury, stroke or debilitating illness.
Our team includes Physical Therapists who help patients regain the abilities they need to return to work or play sports again. Our Speech Language Pathologists assist the victims of stroke and serious brain injury recover their ability to speak, eat and swallow.
At full capacity the Rehab team will include an Occupational Therapy program to provide specialized pediatric care, as well as assistance to adults who need to re-learn the rhythms of daily life like cooking and bathing.
Prevention is a key component of our philosophy. We encourage the elderly to stay active and healthy and we’ll also provide guidance to young athletes to help them prevent injury.
